Superintendent reports mental‑health grants, SRS reallocation plans and TerraBirds enrollment challenges

Mango‑Paget said the board is working with the County to reallocate Secure Rural Schools (SRS) funds to increase funding for the Accommodation District and stop using SRS for general staff; she noted SRS was included in an emergency continuing resolution but would require reauthorization in January. She also referenced a planned physical-security and AI-security survey with potential congressional funding, a rescheduled meeting with CBRE and Blue Frontier, and continuing challenges enrolling students in the TerraBirds workforce-development program.
