Board leadership proposed a list of tentative board meeting dates for 2026 during the Dec. 4, 2025 meeting. The dates presented for consideration are Feb. 3; Mar. 4; Apr. 1; May 6; Jun. 3; Jul. 1; Aug. 5; Sep. 2; Oct. 7; Nov. 4; Dec. 7, 2026; and Jan. 12, 2027. Mr. Dirksen said he supported the schedule and proposed adding it to the next meeting for formal approval.
Principal Traci Parker warned that Aug. 5, 2026 "would be the first week of school, and perhaps the second or third day of school so it might be difficult to devote an hour to a meeting due to potential parent meetings and enrollments." The board agreed to note the conflict and bring the proposed calendar back for approval at its next meeting.
Mr. Dirksen offered to cover reports if any presenter needed to leave early on a scheduled date. The board will formally vote on the 2026 meeting calendar at its next regular meeting.
