Staff presented a draft annual calendar that maps recurring items and program reports across the year and suggested considering a change to the Recreation Commission's start time to better align with other city committees. "We are the latest, commission meeting, at 07:30. All the other, commissions and city council either meet at 05:30 or 6," staff said, noting a potential benefit to earlier start times for coordination.
Commissioners asked for the calendar to be included regularly in packets and flagged a missing May entry to be corrected. They also discussed contingency scheduling if December lacks a quorum and whether some items — such as the annual fields report and the proposed annual report — should be moved earlier to better align with the council's budget process.
