At its Nov. 3 meeting, Piedmont’s City Council approved two consent‑calendar items and a separate action item by unanimous vote.
Consent calendar: Council approved minutes from the Oct. 20, 2025 meeting and adopted on second reading an ordinance authorizing a $57,974.49 loan through the PG&E Efficiency Retrofit Loan Program at 0% interest to finance improvements across city facilities including City Hall, Veterans Hall, the police department and 801 Magnolia.
Action (item 4): The council approved staff’s year‑end transfers totaling $2.6 million and intra‑department adjustments (police→fire $189,500; administration→non‑departmental $175,500; administration→recreation $56,500). Both items passed unanimously.
