The Town of Huron Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit Oct. 8 allowing a 10-foot by 20-foot storage structure at 7437 Wintergreen Pt. The board determined the application by Dennis Hicks to be a Type II action under SEQRA and completed the short Environmental Assessment Form before voting to grant the permit.
Amy Connelly, committee member, moved to approve the application "with the following stipulation; outdoor lighting must not be a nuisance to neighbors." The motion passed unanimously. The board record notes the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program recommendation was read and that all members inspected or are familiar with the site. No other conditions or dollar amounts were discussed.
