Rosemary Madonna raised questions about hydrant flushing and testing; John Santa Croce of the Fire Department said that during a recent River Street fire mutual aid personnel "hooked into the wrong hydrant" but confirmed the village hydrants were otherwise functional and are flushed and tested on a variable schedule.
Trustees did not make a formal directive beyond noting the concerns; the village indicated it will schedule parking workshops and maintain communication with residents on hydrant maintenance and testing schedules.
