Federal grants and local TIF funds finance South Burlington’s Exit 14 walk‑bike bridge

Thomas Renner, a community liaison from Congresswoman Becca Ballant’s office, told the crowd he had secured “over $1,000,000 for the phase 2 of this project,” which the city said will enable further connections beyond the initial span. Officials credited the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and called VTrans an essential partner in navigating federal and state requirements for building within interstate ramp areas.
