Board members discussed equipment reliability, spare‑parts scarcity for older units, and the timing of replacement. The Parks & Rec. department noted that certain donated equipment is failing and that some machines used for grooming are older models that may merit future replacement; the board did not authorize expenditure at this meeting. The decision leaves the department able to revisit the request at budget workshops later in the year.
