She described pilot work with junior high staff on scope and sequence and said the district has brought in external expertise for math facts instruction and is exploring MTSS models and co‑teaching to support tier‑2 and tier‑3 intervention. The presentation tied the curricular goals to required changes in accountability measures that will factor additional grades and subjects into future school letter grades.
Board members asked about timelines and the March state vote on accountability rules; administrators said they will continue planning and return with recommended implementation steps.
