After executive session the council formalized appointments: Amanda Borach to a one-year term, and Luca Karki and Nick Meyer to three-year terms on the Tree Advisory Committee. Councilors praised the committee’s efficiency on recent plantings and noted the work helps preserve the town’s “Vermont” character as new development proceeds.
The council asked staff to continue supporting the committee’s outreach and to explore options that more closely tie new development to tree planting and buffer requirements.
