Board sets Oct. 29 public hearings and clears cannabis law under SEQR

Supervisor Dave Fantuzzo moved, and the board adopted Resolution #105-2024 to set hearings on Oct. 29 for Proposed Local Law #4 of 2024 (Tax Cap) and Proposed Local Law #5 of 2024 (Cannabis), plus hearings for fire protection and ambulance service items. Attorney Amy Kendall reviewed the SEQR for the cannabis law; the board accepted lead agency status, accepted Parts I–III and determined there is no significant impact, then referred the matter to Wayne County Planning for review (Resolution #107-2024).
