Planner Jill reported she has been told the development agreement may have previously disallowed a helipad at High Star, but she had not yet checked the code and said she would research the matter and suggested residents bring the issue to city council if they want it addressed.
A commissioner asked whether private helicopters or Life Flight were involved; staff said it appears to be a local concern and that Life Flight does land in the area sometimes. Staff indicated it may be appropriate for city council to consider any codified limits or approaches to helipad approvals.
