Planning commission forwards definitions amendment (public services) to city council

The Kamas City Planning Commission voted to forward a proposed code amendment clarifying the definition of "public services" to the city council.
Planner Jill asked the commission to consider a final code amendment to Kamas Municipal Code 15.02.010 that would add or revise the definition of public services. Jill said staff (and "Steph," as noted in the staff packet) recommended the Planning Commission give a positive recommendation to the city council.
After brief discussion, a commissioner moved to forward a positive recommendation for the definitions in Exhibit A of the municipal-code packet. The motion was seconded and commissioners voted in favor.
The forwarded recommendation will be considered by the city council in a forthcoming session; the planning staff will supply the council packet.
