Facilities staff reviewed a list of summer projects and the committee discussed sequencing, safety and communication needs to ensure work finishes before fall sports and school starts.
The minutes record that both gyms are slated for waxing over the summer; waxing should be completed prior to fall practice start times or parking and entrance adjustments will be required. The committee also recorded that repainting of handicap spots and resealing of the front parking area still needs completion, and recommended waiting on patching until the InGensa assessment is finished. For field maintenance, staff noted coordination with Activities and that two additional substitute grounds workers will be brought to the May regular meeting for board approval.
