After a public hearing opened and closed on the proposed consultation fees, the Italy Town Board adopted Resolution No. 01-2025 to add provisions permitting the town to charge expert consultation fees to applicants for site plan review and special use permit applications. Councilperson Malcolm MacKenzie moved to adopt the resolution; Councilperson Brent Walton seconded; roll call recorded ayes from MacKenzie, Walton, Ferry and Craig.
The resolution directs the Town Clerk, through town counsel, to file the local law with the New York Secretary of State and complete customary publication and posting procedures. The minutes record that SEQRA matters had been addressed prior to adoption.
