The Litchfield Public Schools board on Oct. 13 authorized administration to work with a consultant to develop a plan to address the district’s future facility and funding needs. The motion, moved by Tim Oster and seconded by Marcia Provencher, passed 5-0.
Chair Alex Carlson had opened the discussion by flagging the district's need to plan for upcoming facility and funding requirements. The board’s vote authorizes staff to engage a consultant and develop options; the minutes do not record any appropriation of funding for construction or projects at this time.
