One substantive component of the proposed zoning amendment would revise sound standards and add requirements for sound testing and sound studies tied to data centers and an energy technology campus, township solicitor Tim Miller said. "So we'll go to 6 6 to amend sound standards, sound testing, and sound study requirements for data centers, data center and energy technology campus and data center accessory uses," he said.
Miller framed the sound provisions as part of a package that also includes clarifications and numbering corrections in Article 7. The board indicated the amendment provides severability language and repeals inconsistent provisions; the hearing record includes a copy of the proposed amendment that has been available to the township since the prior meeting.
