The board scheduled a two-hour retreat for Nov. 13 from 6–8 p.m., proposing finance and one other topic (portrait of a graduate, law or restorative practices) for discussion.
"November 13, 6 to 8 for the board retreat," the chair said as trustees discussed priorities and professional-development needs. Administrators reported they have delivered four of five budget roadshows and will revisit initial budget numbers with building staff when preliminary numbers are released in January.
Trustees recommended finance-focused professional development and suggested adding restorative practices or legal guidance in future sessions. The chair said she would circulate notes and conference materials to the board and follow up on retreat agenda and scheduling.
