Staff encouraged commissioners to drive around the sites for visual updates but said staff will try to share more photos in future packets.
Commissioners also asked about a possible hospital and other medical facilities; staff said those efforts are a work in progress and depend on population and market drivers. The city continues working with BISD on school projects and has multiple retail and service projects in permitting and build-out stages.
