The Village of Carol Stream approved a consent agenda by omnibus vote that included planning commission recommendations, special-use and setback variations for Covenant Living at Windsor Park, a special use for outdoor storage at 307 E. North Avenue, subdivision plats and contract awards for public-works projects.
The clerk read several items that passed 5–0 at Plan Commission and then the board approved the consent agenda and omnibus motions. Notable items listed by the clerk included: a waiver of competitive bidding and authorization to purchase a 2027 Ford F-250 from Hawk Ford for $48,838; drinking water laboratory analytical services from Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Central LLC up to $27,769 (budgeted); award of a contract to Schroeder Asphalt Services Inc. for the 2026 pavement patching project in the amount of $64,728; and an award to Superior Road Striping Inc. for pavement marking at $27,181.79. The board also adopted ordinances amending the FY 2026–27 budget to revise engineering departmental positions and amended the North Avenue and Schmale Road TIF redevelopment plan. The clerk recorded the roll-call approvals and ordinance/resolution numbers as read into the record.
