The ISD 622 School Board unanimously certified the Nov. 5, 2025 special election results and declared that the successful candidate will fill the vacant board term through Jan. 4, 2027. "Candidate Rosemork having received the highest number of votes, is elected to fill the vacancy in term of school board member expiring January 4, 2027," the board resolution states; the resolution records a total of 11,515 voters participating in that special election.
The board also voted to authorize the Board Chair and Clerk to execute the Certificate of Election on behalf of the district so the elected individual may take office as soon as he or she qualifies. The motion carried 5-0; the resolution directs district administration to complete the required certification paperwork.
