Board moves to close out Community Center ADA project and funds National Register nomination work
Summary
The board authorized prepayment to Branon Construction to close out the Community Center ADA upgrade, approved payment to AARCH for National Register nomination prep, and discussed lighting and EV-charger site approvals for UJ parking.
Supervisor Matthew Stanley reported the Community Center ADA upgrade project is ready for closeout and the board approved a motion to prepay Branon Construction application #8 in the amount of $16,742.15 (Resolution #2024-214). Stanley also reported that community-center lighting will be installed over the coming month.
The board approved prepayment of AARCH Invoice #1 for preparation of a National Register Historic District nomination ($2,300, Resolution #2024-215). Stanley said he toured downtown with Christine Bush (AARCH) and Leslie Krupka (NYS Parks and Historic Preservation) to research Main Street as a potential historic district acquisition. Separately the minutes note that UJ parking and EV-charger locations have received DEC approval and signage work will follow in October.
