The town's comprehensive‑plan special board reported that contract negotiations with AES Northeast are complete and that county approvals released funding to proceed. Committee members said AES Northeast will subcontract with local experts and will coordinate a public open house and a one‑month survey to gather community input.
Robin Walters said the public open house is set for Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the survey will be issued at the same time, with paper copies available at town offices. The board said the open house will be a drop‑in format to let residents provide input on priorities for the town's plan.
