Following a Teams presentation of Beginning-of-Year mathematics data by Dr. Brittney Frazier, the Charter Schools, Inc. board voted to approve the A+ Charter Schools Math Instructional Framework. The motion to adopt the instructional framework was made by Ernest Crowley, seconded by Linda Davis, and carried Yea: 5, Nay: 0.
The board also approved the 2025–2026 Professional Development Waiver by motion of Ernest Crowley and seconded by Charles Oliver; that measure also passed unanimously. The minutes record the presentations and approvals but do not include the underlying data tables or waiver documentation; these are in the district's staff materials.
Board members framed the instructional framework adoption as part of routine curriculum oversight and the waiver as an administrative action for the 2025–2026 year. Dr. Frazier's BOY data was presented via Teams; the minutes do not include verbatim data points.
