Glover said Beta will provide funds to hire a third‑party planner to design trails and conduct community outreach, and he urged the board to be “in front of that process” so town input can be fed into any DEC unit‑management‑plan amendment. “So, all I'm all I'm asking for is a a thumbs up or a that sounds like a good idea,” Glover said. Board members recommended the town review a draft plan, consider public input sessions and, if the town wants formal involvement, have the board review the plan before submission to DEC.
