Piedmont reports 3,955 Patrick County clients served in 2025; prevention efforts reach thousands

Jeriah Morris (Piedmont PR) said mental‑health services reached 837 clients, substance‑use services supported 110 clients, and ID/DD services covered 47 residents. Morris said youth and prevention programs reached 3,511 young people with suicide‑prevention and substance‑use prevention programming and that 951 students received opioid and fentanyl risk education.
The agency highlighted workforce supports: its community recovery program helped 77 people with job placement and training, and Piedmont employs roughly 35 peer professionals regionally, with two based in Patrick County. Preston noted the agency has a range of recovery residences and employment supports geared toward long‑term stability.
Piedmont stressed its role in schools and community coalitions for upstream prevention and said it will continue outreach and partnerships to sustain these programs.
