Engineering manager Will Stelter presented Amendment No.1 to the Auerbach Engineering professional services agreement to add additional survey work, geotechnical investigation and specialized horizontal directional drill design services for the Madden Creek crossing.
Stelter said the amendment includes two subconsultants for geotechnical and specialized drill design and that the work is proposed under the existing Auerbach agreement. "This is for additional survey, additional geotechnical investigation, and specialty design services," he said, explaining the scope will support the horizontal directional drill approach and is covered by the project's design budget.
Staff recommended the amendment for the consent agenda and the committee indicated support with no substantive questions recorded in the transcript.
