Staff seeks board consent to call bids for West Shore Tahoe Trail Segment 1 rehabilitation

It's approximately 1.4 miles long," he said, and added that the engineer's estimate is currently just under $3,000,000 and within the approved 2026 capital budget of just over $4,000,000.
Topia and other staff said the work will follow prior phases' scope—general pavement rehabilitation and safety improvements—and that the project team will seek to bid in February with award expected in March, subject to bid responses and Caltrans permit conditions for allowable hours. Staff noted secured grant funding of just over $2,000,000 and recommended the item be placed on Friday's consent agenda for the board's formal action.
