During the Oct. 6, 2025 work session Board Member Gordee moved "to enter into closed session to discuss negotiations pursuant to Minnesota Statute section 13D.03," and Board Member Morgan seconded. The motion passed unanimously and the minutes record the board entered closed session at 6:47 p.m.
The minutes later record that Gordee motioned to return to open session, Sjodin seconded, and that motion also passed unanimously; the board returned to open session at 7:54 p.m. The work session was adjourned at 7:54 p.m. The minutes cite Minnesota Statute section 13D.03 as the legal basis for the closed-session negotiations discussion.
