Board members used the work session to discuss public relations and community engagement strategies and to provide updates from committees on which they serve. Communications staff framed their earlier brand presentation as part of broader engagement efforts with staff, families and community partners.
The board recessed at 6:25 PM for the scheduled Stakeholder Comments to the Board session; there were no in-person attendees or online submissions, and the board reconvened at 6:35 PM. Trustees reiterated a desire to involve coaches, families and community representatives in communications work and to maintain emphasis on the district word "South" in identity materials.
