Cascade Opportunity Center reinstates GED, flags chronic absenteeism at 57.3%

The board and staff compared COC’s staffing (two teachers) with a referenced school that has 15 teachers; Ms. Thompson and Mr. Weeks explained structural reasons for the staffing difference.
Direct interventions and further monitoring were suggested to address the absenteeism rate.
