The Medford School District board voted unanimously on Sept. 18 to proceed with a request for proposals to select a superintendent search firm.
Chair Kendell Ferguson asked staff to incorporate board members’ questions into the search-firm RFP and to provide the updated RFP to the board before launching the proposal process. A motion by Erik Johnsen, seconded by Sandra LaNier McHenry, passed by roll call: Caballero: Yea; Spicer: Yea; Williams: Yea; LaNier McHenry: Yea; Johnsen: Yea; Zbikowski: Yea; Ferguson: Yea.
Staff will prepare the RFP with board input and return to the board with the draft prior to solicitation. No vote on candidate finalists occurred at this meeting; the vote authorized starting the vendor selection process.
