Medford School Board approves 2025–26 goals and measures unanimously

The Medford School District board voted unanimously to approve the 2025–26 Board/District Goals, Priorities and Measures during its Sept. 18 regular meeting.
Interim Superintendent Jeanne Grazioli presented the updated goals and said they remain aligned with the district integrated plan and Measures of the System. A motion by Angela Zbikowski, seconded by Lilia Caballero, carried by roll call: Caballero: Yea; Johnsen: Yea; Zbikowski: Yea; Williams: Yea; Spicer: Yea; LaNier McHenry: Yea; Ferguson: Yea. Directors expressed appreciation for a collaborative, data-driven approach and asked for quarterly updates and sharing best practices between higher- and lower-performing schools.
The board's approval keeps goals unchanged in substance while adopting revised Measures of the System pursuant to feedback from a recent board retreat. Staff will incorporate board requests for regular reporting into the superintendent's monthly board report and strategic planning work.
