Trustee Simko told the board that village signs were ordered on Aug. 23, 2024 and are expected back between Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. She attended a meeting with local historians and trustees from nearby jurisdictions to discuss consolidating historian offices for better collections and storage and said a follow-up meeting is planned.
Simko also updated the board on a solar lighting project (DPW removed trees along the path and is determining post spacing) and said a friend of Trustee Stapleton’s has offered to donate a canal rock and two marble benches — one proposed for a garden space and another to be placed outside Village Hall for former Mayor Platten.
