Director withdraws initial motion; board later adopts similar motion

Later in the meeting a substantially similar motion, moved again by Director Largent and seconded by Co‑Vice Chair Terese Jones, was adopted unanimously. That adopted motion added explicit directions to provide written assurance to the appellant, document potential bias for ACB‑AR compliance, and pursue district‑wide staff training on anti‑Blackness if feasible within this school year. The minutes do not explain why the first motion was withdrawn or what, if any, changes were made between the withdrawn and adopted motions.
