The Cascade School District #5 Board of Directors convened a special session on June 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Board Chair Brett Stegall called the meeting to order and the board completed a short agenda that included presentations, resolutions, and scheduling items. The meeting adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
The board adopted two resolutions by unanimous vote. Resolution 3.A authorizes General Obligation Bonds, Series 2026, with an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $30 million, and Resolution 3.B approves transferring the remaining Turner Swim Team ASB balance of $18,309.91 to the newly formed organization. Superintendent Darin Drill told the board he and Communications Director Gregg Koskela will hold meetings to discuss hiring an owner’s representative and "recommends that the Board approve the hiring of the Owner’s Representative when the proposal is brought before them at a later date." The board also rescheduled the July regular meeting to July 27, 2026.
