During its Sept. 15 meeting the Hemingford Public Schools Board approved vendor claims and authorized short-term investments of district funds.
On a motion by Brett Cullan the board approved General Fund claims totaling $155,194.85 and Building Fund claims of $63,419.78; the minutes include an itemized list of vendors and amounts. Separately, the board authorized investing $299,800 from the Depreciation Fund for three months, $85,000 from the Employee Benefit Fund for six months, and $68,500 from the Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund for six months with Nebraska Bank; that motion was moved by Justin Ansley, seconded by Blanche Randolph and approved 6-0.
