At its Sept. 15 meeting the Hemingford Public Schools Board of Education adopted a resolution to set the district—s property tax request for 2025. The motion, moved by Micki Votruba and seconded by Justin Ansley, passed on a 6-0 roll call.
The resolution records the requested levies as: General Fund $6,060,606; Special Building Fund $752,966; and Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund $75,758. Board members noted that the Finance Committee had prepared the tax-request materials prior to the vote.
The property tax request follows state procedures for school tax authority and supports the district—s adopted 2025-26 budget. The board will complete any required filings following the adoption.
