Interim Superintendent Jeanne Grazioli presented the current Measures of the System document and asked the board whether the listed tracking areas remain the measures the district should monitor. Directors discussed alignment with the Integrated Plan, available grants and funding sources, state report card data, iReady assessment results, student behavior incident tracking, attendance metrics, teacher retention rates, and conducting staff surveys and exit interviews.
Board members provided feedback on potential measures to add or remove and requested that an updated Measures of the System be presented for approval alongside Board/District Goals and Priorities at the Sept. 18 meeting. The board also discussed special education infrastructure and the timeline for student identification as part of the metrics conversation.
