At its March 25 meeting the Mendota Unified School District board approved multiple personnel actions. The board approved hiring Leticia Rivera as Summer School Principal for McCabe Elementary and Nancy Gonzalez as Summer School Principal for the Migrant Program (items 9.1–9.2). Trustees also approved hiring Cord Boland as a fully credentialed math teacher and Grace Burton as a math teacher at Mendota Junior High for the 2026–27 school year (Grace Burton’s hire is contingent on receipt of a Short‑Term Staff Permit).
The minutes also record acceptance of resignation letters from Mendota State Preschool Instructional Aide–Caregiver Jaqueline Diaz (effective March 9, 2026) and Mendota Elementary School Instructional Aide–Caregiver Juan Carlos Sandoval (effective April 10, 2026). Board motions approving the listed hires and resignations were taken by roll call and passed (the meeting records show the action block for 9.1–9.8 passed 7‑0).
