David Williams of Piper Sandler presented financing scenarios and distributed materials included in the board packet; the meeting was explicitly informational and no action on a bond measure was taken that night.
Board Chair Brooke Kliewer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM and confirmed a quorum including board members Katie Bruner, Marc Staunton, John Rademacher and Steve Lowell. Superintendent Glen Szymoniak and Director of Business Services Janet Melsness were present to receive follow-up requests and to coordinate additional scenarios. Board members asked staff to prepare more bond scenarios; the directors agreed to schedule a follow-up work session for Thursday, January 15 at 3:00 PM to continue deliberations. The special session was adjourned at 4:46 PM.
