Superintendent Johnston reported discussions with Viking that indicate the new plow truck is at the Western plant and should be delivered by the end of the year. He said the village will add pedestrian crosswalk signs on Hamilton Street and is considering paving a plow-truck turnaround at the end of Platten Drive and Lock Tenders as well as paving the DPW parking lot.
Johnston added that DEC paperwork for the bank behind Village Hall has been approved, Suite Kote will seal recently laid base areas, and the village will order signage for the charging station and for Delhi as requested at a prior meeting. No formal contracts were awarded during the Aug. 12 session; staff will proceed with scheduling and procurement steps.
