Mayor Weir moved to approve the bench donation and placement; Trustee Monahan seconded, and the motion passed with all voting "Aye." Herbold's offer was described in the minutes as a memorial donation "in memory of his wife Jacquelyn Carter."
The Clerk/Treasurer opened one bid for the village truck from the Bean Group in the amount of $1,005.00. The board appointed Megan Brown as Deputy Clerk and Kristen McPeak as front-end clerk; Trustee Monahan motioned and Trustee Patterson seconded, and the appointments were approved. During Taxpayer Time residents raised questions about a trash bin near Berkshire Hathaway that had been removed after alleged misuse by the adjacent property owner; the DPW Superintendent said the bin had been misused and confirmed, "The bin has been moved," and indicated no other bins were expected to be removed.
