Trustee Quinn Murphy requested and secured board approval of the village Climate Smart action plan during the Feb. 12 meeting; Mayor Dorene Weir seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
Murphy also reported that Integra Energy has approached the village to propose installing electric vehicle chargers at no cost to residents. According to the minutes, Integra would collect 100% of fees until installation costs are recovered and then share 50% of fees with the village; Murphy will coordinate a full presentation to the board.
