The Board approved Continuing Resolution 2026-01, which establishes the fiscal basis for district business for the year and includes fiscal year changes, updated substitute rates and secondary registration fee schedules. Director Mason Murphy moved for approval and Director Anne Keeler seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Business Services recommended declaring several music items surplus, including four piano keyboards (missing charging cords), two autoharps with cases, 76 wooden rhythm sticks, six drums, six plastic shakers and 25 wooden xylophones. Director Ryan Lehnert moved that the items be declared surplus and that the district be authorized to dispose of or sell them; Director Jill Pace seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
The Board also approved a Broker of Record Compensation Agreement designating Wheatland Insurance Center as the district's broker. The minutes state the agreement ties an annual fee to property and liability contributions to PACE and reflects a cost-saving reduced annual fee of 4% compared with prior arrangements. Director Patrick Gregg recused himself from the broker motion; Director Mason Murphy moved for approval and Director Jill Pace seconded; the motion carried unanimously with Gregg recused.
