At the Oct. 9 meeting Clerk/Treasurer Nicole Heeder presented corrections to the Sept. 11 minutes and explained an AUD encumbrance that would allow funds to move through fund balance into the current budget to cover vouchers.
Trustee Susan Patterson moved to accept the minutes as corrected; Trustee T. Kevin Monahan seconded and the motion passed with all voting "Aye." Heeder requested a motion to increase budget line items to cover specific vouchers: $21,962 for firefighters' retirement; $45,000 for a fire truck payment; and $10,000 for a DPW truck. Trustee Monahan moved to approve the adjustments, Trustee Patterson seconded and the board again voted unanimously.
The board reviewed and approved the total abstract of $135,213.09 (General Fund $52,627.57; Water Fund $3,518.84; Capital Projects — Albany Ave. $74,463.46; Sewer $2,603.12). Trustee Monahan moved to approve the Treasurer's report; Mayor Weir seconded and all voted "Aye." Heeder also noted the village office had been short-staffed for 3.5 months while preparing the AUD filing on Sept. 29, 2024.
