"The cost for the whole thing was 7,800," S2 said. Members agreed the work constituted an emergency and approved payment.
The board noted the senior center relied on the system for daily readings and that delaying repairs could have produced noncompliant readings during inspections. The board approved the expenditure and directed staff to include the charge in vouchers for payment.
