District to roll out UKG HR system this winter; evaluations move to Vector Solutions in September

HR officials outlined a two-phase human capital management rollout and an evaluations upgrade at the Aug. 10 personnel committee meeting. Staff said the UKG implementation is in requirements and build phases, with benefits and recruiting modules targeted to go live in December 2026; time accruals, leave and people-insight features will follow in phase two.
"We expect to go live around December 2026," a presenter said, describing the phase-1 target for the benefits and recruiting modules. Separately, Tashika explained that the district is adding evaluation functionality to its existing Vector Solutions compliance tool, moving paper evaluations into an electronic workflow; configuration runs through Aug. 31 and a launch phase with supervisor and employee trainings will begin Sept. 1.
Presenters said the evaluations build should be easier because the district is not introducing an entirely new vendor product but adding features to a familiar tool. The committee received the status updates as informational implementation timelines to be coordinated with payroll and training schedules.
