Kinderhook board appoints Deputy Court Clerk and approves pay increase in executive session

Mayor Dorene Weir read a letter from Judge Baumgartner recommending Kaitlyn Kilmartin for the role of Deputy Court Clerk. Trustee Susan Patterson moved to approve the appointment; Trustee Monahan seconded and the board voted unanimously "Aye."
During a later executive session on personnel, Trustee Quinn Murphy moved to increase the Deputy Clerk's hourly rate to $20.00/hour effective at the first payroll in 2025 and to add Vacation, Personal and Sick time based on a 32-hour work week after a three-month probationary period. Trustee Monahan seconded and the motion was recorded as adopted by unanimous vote.
