At agenda item 7.7 the administration recommended buying an additional Ford Expedition to expand the fleet and address transportation gaps for students, including special-education and foster students. "We actually need to add another one... we're transporting kids, and we are out of rigs," Miss McGuff (S3) said, explaining the district’s concern about leaving students without reliable transport.
Board members asked about timing and assignment; the administration said the vehicle would be acquired before June 30 under a state contract price that the vendor will honor. The board approved the purchase and discussed potential assignments for the new vehicle, including use by family liaison staff and transportation for longer trips.
